Surface preparation:

Removed of existing damage floor paint if any.

Cleaned surface to be leveled and smoothened with mechanical grinder and subsequently scarified mechanically to provide adequate anchor profile for epoxy floor installation.

Wet areas to be dried out using a gas burner.

Surface to be vacuumed to remove all left over dust.

Damaged areas like pot holes will be repaired using the epoxy screed.

Moisture Testing:

  • Moisture test to be conducted by Plastic Sheet method (ASTM D 4263) to ensure that moisture content is below 5%.

Priming:

  • The prepared substrate should be primed with PRISRINE EPOGUARL SL a two-component, solvent free epoxy resin based primer. The primer will be mixed thoroughly with a mechanical mixer to get a homogeneous consistency mix. Apply the mixed material onto the prepared concrete substrate with a lambs-wool roller.
